        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  men's  golf  team  is  set  to  compete  in  the  Illinois  College  Blueboy  Invite  this  Thursday  and  Friday  at  The  Rail  Golf  Course  in  Springfield.

This  marks  the  Prairie  Stars'  first  competition  close  to  home  this  season.  UIS  will  field  a  balanced  lineup  of  veteran  leadership  and  emerging  talent  as  it  wraps  up  regular  season  play.  Thursday's  opening  round  will  begin  with  a  noon  shotgun  start,  and  Friday's  final  round  will  tee  off  at  9:00  a.m.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  women's  tennis  team  begins  its  five-match  GLVC  slate  this  weekend,  starting  with  Missouri-St.  Louis  on  Friday  in  St.  Louis.  The  Prairie  Stars  will  then  face  Maryville  on  Saturday,  with  both  matches  scheduled  for  11:00  a.m.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Illinois  Springfield  junior  pitcher  Rosie  Bartletti  has  been  named  the  GLVC  Pitcher  of  the  Week  after  a  dominant  showing  in  the  circle  that  included  back-to-back  complete-game  shutouts.  It  is  the  first  career  weekly  honor  for  the  Springfield  native  and  elementary  education  major.</div>
