Janet L. Gooch, the newly named University of Illinois Springfield Chancellor Designate and Vice President Designate of 天美传媒, was welcomed to campus on April 19, 2022, during an introductory event in the Student Union Ballroom. Gooch will officially take over as the leader of UIS on July 1.
