The Division of Advancement is seeking projects to consider for awarding one-time (non-reoccurring) money from the UIS Fund. Throughout the year, UIS alumni, employees and friends make contributions to the UIS Fund, the overall unrestricted gift fund for UIS. This fund provides maximum flexibility in advancing UIS.
Think big and small. The purpose of the UIS Fund is to provide support that captures opportunities that surface throughout the year. This may include needs that were not budgeted or planned for but are needed, projects that may be difficult to fund through a mass appeal or by individual donors, or important things that don鈥檛 fall into one unit鈥檚 budget.
Applicants should submit their proposals using the online form by April 30, 2025. Requests of any size will be considered. A total of $15,000 will be awarded in May. Funds must be used by Dec. 31, 2025.

All proposals will be evaluated by a committee of employees from Advancement, the Chancellor鈥檚 office, and the Provost鈥檚 office. The decisions of the committee will be final. Results will be available by May 9, 2025.
