Future Plans: Work as a Software Engineer while playing soccer professionally
Charles Ogbogu says he enjoys the 鈥渕oderate class sizes and personalized learning experience鈥� at 天美传媒 Springfield. He plays on the UIS men鈥檚 soccer team and is a member of the Capital Honors Program and African Students Association. He is also a student assistant for the UIS Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. This past summer, he interned at Google in California where he served as a software engineer on a technical project alongside a team of interns and full-time Googlers. 鈥淚n addition to the scholarship I received, I chose UIS because of its closely-knitted community and highly-connected campus,鈥� he said. Following graduation, he plans to work as a Software Engineer, while playing soccer professionally.
