Adam Knaze of Bojnice, Slovakia, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for the fall semester of 2025 and awarded a $20,000 Star Scholar Award for tuition over four years. At UIS, he will major in business administration with a sport management concentration.
In high school, Knaze participated in multiple sports. At UIS, he will play for the men鈥檚 soccer team.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
After graduation, Knaze plans to pursue a career working for sports organizations.
All undergraduate first-year students are automatically eligible for Star Scholar First Year Scholarships. To receive $20,000 over four years, the student must have an unweighted GPA of 3.50-3.74.
