If you received an email from GrantForward, it is not spam or a phishing attempt. This is a grant database that UIS is subscribed to. Previously, it only had accounts for faculty and those who opted in. Today, accounts went live for Civil Service and Academic Professional employees.聽
This is how the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will begin sending out monthly newsletters at the start of the Fall semester to increase efficiency and have better usage metrics than the email version we've been using.
