Sierra Peterson transferred to 天美传媒 Springfield to complete her bachelor鈥檚 degree. On campus, she works at the聽Student Union. As part of her job, she helps manage the UIS CARES Stars Supply Stop, a place where students can pick up school supplies at no cost, with no judgement. Peterson grew up in a small farm town in Wisconsin. She moved to Springfield after graduating high school and says she has 鈥渓oved all of the new experiences of living in a bigger and busier area.鈥� Following graduation from UIS, she plans to work at a college or university in student support services. 鈥淚 had a lot of help and support during my time in college and I want to be able to do that for future students,鈥� she said.
