The Office of Strategic Communications will be hosting two Open Photo Studio sessions for Fall 2024 for all staff or faculty. The photos can be used for university purposes such as department websites, campus directory, speaking engagements at conferences, etc. Any staff or faculty member who either hasn鈥檛 had their portrait taken or would like another, more recent, portrait taken is encouraged to attend.

The next Civil Service Advisory Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 2, at 10 a.m. via . All civil service employees are welcome to attend.
There will be an open comment period at the end of the meeting for anyone who would like to participate. If you wish to participate in the open comment period, please email CSAC@uis.edu with the anticipated subject matter by Tuesday, October 1.
In October, the Office of Digital Accessibility (ODA) and COLRS will share an accessibility tip on writing and including alternative text for images in Microsoft Word and Canvas content.

Sign up for website accessibility training to learn about the聽changes to website workflow聽to edit the uis.edu. Training typically lasts half an hour.
