The聽University of Illinois Springfield Innovation Hub, the聽UIS Center for State Policy and Leadership聽and the聽聽will host a free public webinar titled 鈥淭he Lasting Effects of COVID-19 on Patients, the Health Care System and the World鈥 via Zoom at noon Friday.

Today, Illinois enters the 鈥溾 of the Restore Illinois plan, which further relaxes COVID-19 restrictions. This is a welcome development indicative of important progress in our pandemic journey.

Despite being one thousand miles apart, UIS Women鈥檚 Basketball Coach聽Casey Thousand聽is running drills with her team and having weekly meetings.
It would be nearly impossible to have a health class without acknowledging the elephant in the room, COVID-19.
