All faculty and staff are invited to a Holiday Happy Hour from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, in the Student Union Ballroom. The event will feature music, drinks and appetizers to celebrate the season. Release time will be in effect.
The University of Illinois Springfield and UPI Local 4100 Non-Tenure Track Faculty Union began negotiating the union鈥檚 first contract in March 2024, and on March 19, 2025, reached a tentative agreement on a three-year contract.
The second finalist for the UIS Assistant Vice Chancellor for Human Resources will be interviewing on campus today, Nov. 20.
An open forum will take place from 3 to 3:45 p.m. in UHB 3080 for interested faculty and staff to attend and learn more about the candidate. A is available, but in-person attendance is strongly encouraged. Participants on Zoom will be able to ask questions via the chat function only.
