New Administrative Theme
The Office of Web Services has updated the site to a new administrative theme! Claro, provides a clear admin user interface, with a more modern look and feel. The new design "defines a complete set of principals, patterns, and tools for building a coherent and user-friendly Drupal administrative user interface" .聽聽The initiative to update the administrative theme is to make Drupal compatible with decoupled applications and to make browsing easier for end users.
Recurring dates and date ranges now available for events
You can now add recurring dates and date ranges for Events! The Office of Web Services (OWS) added this functionality after receiving multiple requests for this feature.
The new 'When' field provides this capability, offering many configuration options, to reduce the need to duplicate event content on the site for repeating events.
WordPress Site Decommission
This is a reminder that the deprecated WordPress site, stored on a backup server with ITS, will be decommissioned after December 22, 2022, and will no longer be accessible.
If you have not already done so, please review your website content on the new site. If you find missing content from the old WordPress site, please email聽webservices@uis.edu聽to let us know before December 22, so we can assist.
