Women in Mexico: Feminism, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Platforms in Times of COVID
This event will feature two current professors and researchers from the University of Colima, Mexico (UCOL). Dr. Karla Kral will examine the role of feminist activism during the fourth wave feminism and Dr. Prado-Meza will explore a group of women entrepreneurs known as the 鈥渘enis鈥 to help recover from the economic crisis driven by the COVID 19 pandemic and the policies that ensued. Both lecturers will discuss the role of digital platforms as strategies to communicate their messages from the Southwestern State of Colima, Mexico.
