The University of Illinois Springfield and the have announced the appointment of Gabe Cagwin, PhD, as the new vice chancellor for advancement at UIS. Cagwin will also serve as senior vice president for 天美传媒 Foundation. His appointment is subject to approval by 天美传媒 Board of Trustees.

It was a fun experience! I got to meet so many people and had a lot of great opportunities. I played on the soccer team but was also able to participate in Alternative Spring Break and a study abroad program in Italy.
I liked participating in Springfest with my friends and teammates! It was fun to get together each year with the entire campus and take part in the activities.
My experience was life changing. I learned so much about myself and other people around me. UIS allowed me to explore so many avenues of my creativity within my major that added to my success today. I was involved in SOFA, Kinky Curly Hair Club, The Journal Student Newspaper, and Necessary Step Mentor program. I truly developed my character and identity on that campus, and used every resource available to me to make me the woman I am today.
