The School of Health Sciences

The School of Health Sciences hosts facilities in both SLB and HSB. The Athletic Training and Exercise Science Suite located in SLB was constructed in the summer of 2017 after being designed by the Athletic Training and Exercise Science Faculty to enhance learning and maximize space. The Medical Laboratory Science Lab in HSB provides the students with the educational opportunities in preparation for professional practice.

Exercise Physiology & Strength Lab

Athletic Training Classrooms

Both AT classrooms have combination tables with removable pads that allow the table to convert from a student desk to an evaluation table.  Room 105 also includes a 10 station taping bench.

Anatomage Lab

The Anatomage lab will聽let students fully visualize and learn about human anatomy layer by layer. This specialized lab features the Anatomage Table and multi-purpose tables that allow students to practice as they learn from watching how the body works.

Art in this area utilized UIS Students as the center piece to athletic action.

  • Entrance to the Suite: floor to ceiling photographic images are used to accentuate the space
  • The bright colors from the Leadership lived color palate were chosen because of the vibrant nature of the programs.
