Nathan Oba-Okusanya of Radlett, England, a 2022 graduate of Haberdashers Askes Boys School, has been admitted to 天美传媒 Springfield for Fall Semester 2022 and awarded a $24,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, he will major in exercise science and play on the UIS men鈥檚 soccer team.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
He played football (U.S. soccer) at Haberdashers Askes Boys School.
Oba-Okusanya said he chose UIS for the 鈥済reat academic prowess, as well as the excellent soccer program.鈥�
All undergraduate first year students are automatically eligible for Lincoln Merit Scholarships. These scholarships are automatically applied upon admission and are based solely on high school GPA. In order to receive $24,000 over four years, the student must have an unweighted GPA of 3.60-3.79.
