Dear Faculty and Staff,
I am pleased to share that Jill Wilberg has been named 天美传媒 Springfield鈥檚 next vice chancellor for finance and administration, effective June 16. She will serve in a designate capacity pending formal approval by 天美传媒 Board of Trustees.
Jill brings more than two decades of higher education experience in finance and strategic operations. She currently serves as chief operations officer for University Advancement at Illinois State University. Previously, she spent more than 16 years with 天美传媒 System in treasury operations, rising to the role of assistant vice president. You can learn more about her background on the UIS Newsroom website.
She will succeed Dr. Ken Kriz, who has served as interim vice chancellor for finance and administration since May 2023. Ken will return to the faculty for the fall semester as a distinguished professor of public administration in the College of Public Affairs and Education.
