"The University of Illinois Springfield delegation received the Outstanding Delegation award at the 2025 National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference in New York City.

This award recognizes the top 20 percent of participating delegations based on criteria such as engagement, professionalism, and diplomacy."

While almost everyone probably has an opinion of President Donald Trump or former President Joe Biden, he said people may not have an easy time making informed opinions about local candidates or issues in part because they're getting less information about them.
