UIS Softball Hosts Indianapolis on Alumni Day

The Illinois Springfield softball team will host the University of Indianapolis for a Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) doubleheader at noon on Saturday at the UIS Softball Field. The games will be part of the program's Alumni Day celebration, welcoming former players back to campus.

The meet gives the Prairie Stars a valuable opportunity to race after last weekend's Jim Vargo Invitational at Bellarmine was canceled due to weather. Dom Cantarini and Finn Loken are entered in the 1,500-meters, while Lucas Naugle will race in the 800-meter later in the afternoon.
