        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  baseball  team  is  listed  among  the  programs  under  consideration  in  the  first  NCAA  Division  II  Midwest  Regional  Rankings  of  the  2025  season,  released  Wednesday  evening.

This  week's  rankings  are  presented  alphabetically,  with  UIS  among  nine  teams  recognized  in  a  competitive  Midwest  Region  field.</div>

The  search  for  the  UIS  Vice  Chancellor  for  Finance  &amp;  Administration  has  yielded  four  finalists.  They  will  be  visiting  campus  for  interviews  on  April  28,  29  and  May  1,  2.



An  open  forum  will  take  place  for  interested  faculty  and  staff  to  attend  and  learn  more  about  each  of  the  candidates.



Candidate  resumes  and  instructions  for  providing  feedback  will  be  shared  at  the  open  forum.</div>

What  was  your  overall  UIS  experience  like?



My  experience  at  UIS  fostered  an  environment  where  I  could  stay  deeply  focused  on  both  professional  and  personal  growth.  The  close-knit  campus  community,  intimate  class  sizes,  and  supportive  faculty  created  a  space  where  I  could  truly  invest  in  myself  and  my  future.  During  my  time  there,  I  came  to  understand  that  determination,  discipline,  and  service  to  others  are  essential,  fulfilling,  and  deeply  rewarding.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Illinois  Springfield  women's  tennis  standout  Carmen  Llopis  Fabra  continues  to  earn  national  recognition,  coming  in  at  No.  73  in  the  latest  ITA  Division  II  Singles  Rankings  released  this  week.

Llopis  Fabra  has  posted  a  7-4  singles  record  in  regular  season  play  this  spring,  consistently  leading  the  Prairie  Stars  in  competitive  matchups.  She  will  carry  her  national  ranking  into  the  final  weekend  of  the  regular  season,  as  UIS  faces  Indianapolis  on  Friday  and  McKendree  on  Saturday.</div>
