        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Before  resuming  its  GLVC  slate  at  Upper  Iowa  this  weekend,  the  UIS  baseball  team  will  welcome  the  Maryville  Saints  to  the  UIS  Baseball  Field  for  a  midweek  non-conference  matchup.  Last  Tuesday's  meeting  between  the  teams  was  a  13-6  win  for  UIS,  where  the  Prairie  Stars'  bats  came  alive  in  the  late  innings  while  strong  pitching  secured  the  victory.  Another  competitive  matchup  is  expected  this  time  around.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  men's  golf  team  is  in  second  place  after  the  first  round  of  the  Flyers  Spring  Invitational,  posting  a  team  score  of  301  (+13).  The  Prairie  Stars  sit  four  strokes  behind  leaders  Davenport,  who  finished  with  a  297  (+9).  The  final  round  is  set  for  Tuesday  at  Cog  Hill  Golf  and  Country  Club.</div>

What  was  your  overall  UIS  experience  like?



I  graduated  with  a  BA  in  Accounting.  UIS's  flexible  schedule  and  focusing  on  working  students,  which  was  not  common  at  that  time,  was  extremely  important  to  me.  I  learned  Accounting  while  at  UIS,  which  led  me  to  a  40  year  career  in  all  kinds  of  financial  positions.  I  was  a  member  of  the  Accounting  Club.</div>
